Encore, a palomino mustang mare and a daughter of Cloud, was championed by the young roan stallion Knight.
Filmmaker Ginger Kathrens has documented the mustangs of Montana’s Pryor Mountains for decades, including the palomino stallion Cloud and his family.
Encore, Cloud’s look-alike daughter, was born in 2013. After being stolen by a group of bachelor stallions as a yearling, her luck changed when she was championed by the young roan stallion Knight.
In August 2019, Encore and Knight welcomed their first foal, Tor – a black colt with a white star like Cloud's own sire Raven.
Living wild and free, Encore and Tor will continue Cloud’s story that began in those same mountains decades ago.
